APOLOGY OF THE DAY

Arkansas state Senator Kim Hendren, at a county Republican meeting:

"I was attempting to explain that, unlike [New York] Senator [Chuck] Schumer, I believe in traditional values, like we used to see on The Andy Griffith Show. I made the mistake of referring to Senator Schumer as 'that Jew' and I should not have put it that way, as this took away from what I was trying to say."

Kim, was just trying to pay a compliment to Schumer. He is very proud of his heritage and to call him "that Jew" was meant in the highest regard.

It was not like calling him "that bad Jew" or something.

The news media just goes out of its way to make something sensational by misreporting or distorting.

The news media requires more frequent beatings.

Kind Regards,
